Tomatoes are field crops unlocked at experience level 30.
They are used to make many recipes, including juice and sauce which are then used to make other products.
Like all crops, they are stored in the silo.
Growing tomatoes
Tomatoes are grown in fields by planting another tomato (either previously harvested or purchased). Each plot yields 2 plants (net gain of 1 plant) and 8 
points, and takes 6 hours to mature.
Selling tomatoes
- Tomatoes can be sold or bought for a maximum price of 432
for 10 units.

Boat orders
- Boat orders ask for 6 to 12 tomatoes per crate, up to a total of 48 per boat.
- Each unit of tomato gives players 17 coins and 13 experience points in boat orders.
Strategy tips
- Tomatoes are rarely found in the Daily Dirt. They are rare enough that selling them at a lower price is not recommended.
- Recipes ask for one to four tomatoes. You may want to make sure you always have enough of them in your silo.
- Tomatoes are the best way to make coins even if you are at low level. Plant them overnight and they will get sold real quick.
Other information
- In Hay Day's roadside shop promotion image, only tomato is not set at maximum price. (406 for 10 units)
