The Salad Bar originally has two slots available. Unlocking the third slot costs 6 diamonds. Players can unlock 7 new slots in total, each new one costing 3 more than the previous one. Alternatively, they can spend a total of 105 to completely upgrade their machine.

Strategy tips
- All types of salad, other than the mushroom salad, require at least one manufactured product to be made: fresh pasta, goat cheese, mayonnaise, olive oil or roasted tomatoes. You need to time your production to make sure you have these in stock (or find them in the Daily Dirt, which can happen for fresh pasta and roasted tomatoes).
- You can speed up the production of the Salad Bar using a green booster.
