Peanuts

Peanuts is a type of animal good unlocked at experience level 62.

It is used to make honey peanuts, snack mixes, chocolate pies, peanut noodles, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, peanut fudges, crunchy donuts, fried candy bars and peanut butter milkshakes.

Unlike the other animal goods, peanuts are stored in the silo.

Collecting peanuts

Squirrel

Peanuts are collected from entrances in the squirrel house.

To make one unit of peanuts, squirrels need to gather 300 peanut pods from peanut bushes and bring them to the squirrel house. This takes approximately 5 hours if the bushes are close enough. Peanuts can then be immediately collected.

Strategy tips

  • Peanuts were once considered rare in the Daily Dirt. As time goes on, it has now become a very common product you see in the Daily Dirt, so selling in high quantities, or at maximum, may result in slower sales, but still a little faster than the rustic bouquets. (Edit: now possible to find, but not too regularly)
  • Although peanuts are now somewhat commonly found in the Daily Dirt, you can always buy them up and make some peanut products with the peanuts you've purchased then sell them back.
  • Bear in mind that you can't do the 'buy, make and sell' process all the time as they can also result in slower sales as well.
  • Peanuts are never requested in boat orders.

Did you know?

  • This is the most expensive crop to this day, costing a whopping 360 coins per bag. It was subsequently reduced to 234 coins in the December 2020 update and still stays as the most expensive crop to this day.
  • It may look like a product, but it's stored in the silo instead of the barn.
    • This is also the only animal product to do so.
  • Originally, it only took 2 hours and 30 minutes for a pair of squirrels to collect the 300 peanut pods necessary to produce 1 peanut.  This was changed 31 August 2020.
