Squirrels are farm animals which produce peanuts. They are unlocked at experience level 62. They are the seventh type of farm animal unlocked in the game.

Squirrels wear themed accessories during summer, Halloween and winter.
Buying
Squirrels must be placed in a squirrel house to be purchased. The house costs 45,000 coins. The house has room for two squirrels at first. At this point squirrels cost 4,000 
each. The house has to grow to make room for more squirrels. Growth happen when enough peanut pods have been brought to the house by the squirrels:
- When 5,500 peanut pods have been collected, a second pair of doors are added and two more squirrels can be purchased for 5,000
each. - At 80,000 peanut pods a third pair of doors is added and two more squirrels can be purchased for 6,000 each.
- At 270,000 peanut pods, a fourth and last pair of doors is added and two more squirrels can be purchased for 7,000 each.
Squirrels can be bought from the Shop.
Harvesting
Squirrels make peanuts by scampering to peanut bushes, collecting peanut pods (one per squirrel) then scampering back to the squirrel house. It takes approximately 5 hours for a pair of squirrels to collect 300 peanut pods, enough to produce one peanut, providing bushes are as close as possible to the squirrel house and there are enough bushes to get peanut pods from. Players can then collect it from the squirrel house.
Squirrels collect peanut pods even when players are offline (distance does not matter then) but stop doing so when a peanut is produced.
